Today at my program, my friends and I learned how to use some examples about improving our writing and grammar. First, we learned how to avoid using contractions, because it is better to write out the word in full in academic and formal business writing. Also, we learned how to us the active voice and avoid using the passive voice while writing out the sentences and using the strong verbs. While avoiding contractions, we learned some techniques on how not to use "There is" and "There are." Then, we learned how to avoid using the words 'Really, very, a lot, and so." Then at last, but not least, we played the grammar quiz game by watching a video. While watching the video, I wrote down the words in complete sentences and getting the answers just right, because practicing grammar and writing takes time to learn.
